A controversial Texas evangelical will share a stage this weekend with U.S. Rep Tom Price at a rally for Israel in west Georgia.

John Hagee, pastor of the Cornerstone Church in San Antonio and founder of Christians United for Israel, has been tapped to headline “A Night to Honor Israel” at the River Center of the Performing Arts in Columbus on Sunday.

The event, billed as “an evening of solidarity and celebration with Christian and Jewish communities,” was organized by Solid Rock Church. According to an invitation found on the church’s website, other notable speakers include: Rep. Price, Columbus Mayor Teresa Tomlinson, and Israeli Consul-General-Southeast Opher Aviran.
