James Richardson, editor: James serves as vice president of public relations at Hynes Communications, a boutique communications firm specializing in blogger engagement. He was formerly a communications adviser and spokesman for Governors Haley Barbour, Jon Huntsman, the Republican National Committee (RNC) and the College Republican National Committee (CRNC).

He’s published political and social commentary in The Atlantic Magazine, GQ Magazine, The Guardian, Politico, Fox News, CBS News, the Washington Times, the Huffington Post, Human Events and the Daily Caller.

Brandon Howell, contributor: Brandon Howell serves as account services director at Hynes Communications.

A veteran of political campaigns at the local, congressional and statewide levels of Georgia politics, Brandon was a part of both Congressman Austin Scott and Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black’s successful 2010 campaigns, as well as the organizer of a statewide student coalition in support of Governor Rick Perry’s presidential bid.

Brandon previously served in a variety of roles within the College Republicans, most notably as the State Vice-Chairman for the Georgia Association of College Republicans. Prior to joining Hynes Communications, he was the Campaign Manager for State Representative Doug McKillip’s bid for re-election.
